He played a lot from his new album "Way to Normal"
2nd time I have seen Chuck. His son who plays with him had a broken arm, so he did not fill in the guitar parts.
Hot. Muggy. Short. The broken AC couldn't stop Katie and Jules from rocking the bird while they were on stage, though. Sadly, they weren't on stage for very long. Totally worth it considering they'll probably never make it back to stl. Thanks for coming, kids!

No, not really. In fact, I was expecting a train wreck. I didn't get one.
I called my brother and said, "Where are you at? I'm picking you up to see Helmet. They go on in 15 minutes. Put on some pants."
We caught the end of Luca Brasi's set. We missed Vampire Moose.
The entire evening was a pleasant, face-melting surprise.
